Tactics and Lake Info
The best approach to fish Sunset is to use pellets, maggots or casters down the track over ground bait or micros.
Fishing on top of the sunken Island produces good results later in the day using pellets, ground bait, maggots, worms or casters, margins also produce good results later in the day.
Sunset is an ideal lake for producing lots of bites with a good chance of catching lots of different species of fish during your visit.

we have had plenty of great weight off this lake with the current match record being over 211lbs 9oz, consisting of mainly silvers, this is still a newish lake but is establishing nicely with all pegs having plenty of space between them and looks great in the middle of summer when the Lilly pads grown on the sunken island.
