Fishery Rules & Terms and Conditions

General Rules:​​​

All visitors must report to the tackle shop on arrival.

Please be mindful that the car park, lakes and facilities are for customer use only
-
Anglers only around the lakes, no walkers or spectators to approach the lakes at anytime unless approved by management.
-
Anglers and guests are expected to behave in an appropriate manner at all times and show consideration for others, fish and wildlife at the fishery
-
Most importantly, we expect anglers to treat the fish and wildlife with care
-
the owners reserve the right to refuse entry to the site for fishing and facilities
-
the owner accept no responsibility for customers Vehicles, content or equipment whilst on the site
-
All accidents or incidents must be reported immediately to management
-
No swimming under any circumstances
-
if you are consuming alcohol on site it is your responsibility to consume alcohol responsibly
-
we reserve the right to ask visitors to leave if we feel there behavior is inappropriate
-
No Dogs around the lakes or cabins, please do not disturb anyone using the site. any dogs on site are to be held on a lead around the tackle shop area or main car park (Please clean up your dog mess)
-
All personal litter to be removed from site by yourself
-
No Gardening on site, if there is an issue please talk to a member of staff
-
All fish are to be landed with a net and returned to the water with your net
-
Strictly no fish to be held towels
-
All fish are to be placed on a mat while unhooking or having photos taken
-
fish can be unhooked while in a net as long as the net is supporting the fish and not touching the floor
-
strictly no keepnets to be used when pleasure fishing
-
all fish are to be returned to the water, no fish to be taken from the fishery or moved to other lakes
-
please use carparks provided (Do not park on the grass or drive around the lakes)
-
no surface fishing or floating baits
-
Barbless hooks only (maximum size 10 hooks)
-
stickily no braid of any sort (this includes hook lengths)
-
No Under 18's to be left alone on site, they must be supervised by an adult/Guardian at all times
-
No barbeques
-
No Radios
-
No Drug Use
-
2 rods maximum per angler
-
all bait at your peg will be deemed as being used
-
not day tickets can be purchased after 6pm
-
the fishery is open 7.30am do not park in front of gates when they are closed
-
the fishery is open until 7.45pm in the summer month but the fisher closes earlier when the nights draw in.
-
All visitors must be off site by 7.45pm any visitors locked in will be charged £20 to have the automatic gate opened
-
do not knock the doors of any cabins or the private residents house, visit the tackle shop for any inquires or issues (the shop is open 7.30am-5pm Tuesday-Saturday 7.30am-10am Sunday, the fishery is closed Monday)

Match/Keepnet Rules
​
-
All keepnets are to be removed from there stink bags and laid out at you peg on arrival
-
any nets at your peg will be deemed as being used (returning to your car to get nets that haven't been laid out will result in you being asked to leave)
-
nets must not enter the water until your match is in progress
-
maximum 65lb limit per net for nets 0f 2.5m or more
-
any nets that are 2.5m or more with a weight exceeding 65lb will get knocked back to 65lb
-
maximum 50lb limit for nets less than 2.5m
-
any nets that are 2.5m or less with a weight exceeding 50lb will get knocked back to 50lb
-
movement of fish between nets is not allowed at any time.
-
if nets are not laid out properly, you or you club may be asked to leave the fishery
-
do not pile your nets on top of each other nets must be laid out individually
-
fish welfare and bio security is paramount and breaking these rules will not be tolerated and may result in a instant band from the fishery
-
all matches are to finish at 4pm unless approved by management
-
13m pole limit only applies to open mates when both banks are used on Hurricane/Tornado lake (sunset and willow lake is halfway between each angler)
-
no assistance for others while matches are in progress

Bait rules
-
please do not throw excess bait in after you have finished your session
-
only fishery pellets to be used if you are fishing with pellets, all hook pellets must be fishery pellets (exemptions for Hookbaits only: expander pellets, any manufactured hookable pellet's, wafters may be used in a bait band)
-
Luncheon meat, 2 pint bait limit (this means a 2 pint bait bowl with a lid being able to be closed while the Luncheon meat is inside)

Boilies or wafters Hook bait only
-
Cat or dog meat Hook bait only
-
prawns hook bait only
-
mussels hook bait only
-
Maggots, casters, worms, sweetcorn, hemp, and mixed particles, paste and ground bait are to be used in sensible quantities
-
colorings and bait additives are allowed but be sensible on how much you use or add to your bait (food grade only)
-
Bread is allowed from November to the end of March, but not as a floating bait (bread punch or liquidized breed is allowed between these months)
-
any unusual baits will need to be approved by a member of management before using

The management reserves the right to ask you to leave or refuse entry at any time, breaking of the rules may result in you being asked to leave or being banned from the fishery, any illegal activity, dangerous behavior or damages to any property or the site will be reported to the relevant authority's and prosecution may be followed up
CCTV is operational in all public areas at all times
